Configuring Flow Exports on Extreme Enterasys Switches
For NetFlow analysis, you need to configure your devices to export flows to Site24x7 On-Premise Poller, which is the NetFlow collector. The On-Premise Poller will be listening to the particular port to receive flows. Learn how to find the port number of your On-Premise Poller.
Configure flows on Extreme Enterasys switches using the following commands:
set sflow receiver 1 owner NFAExport timeout 180000
set sflow receiver 1 ip {NETFLOW_SERVER_IP}
set sflow receiver 1 ip {NETFLOW_SERVER_IP}
Enter global configuration mode on the router or Multilayer Switch Feature Card (MSFC), and issue the following commands for each interface on which you want to enable flow:
set sflow port {INTERFACE_NAME} sampler 1
set sflow port {INTERFACE_NAME} sampler maxheadersize 256
set sflow port {INTERFACE_NAME} sampler rate 2048
set sflow port {INTERFACE_NAME} poller 1
set sflow port {INTERFACE_NAME} poller interval 20
set sflow port {INTERFACE_NAME} sampler maxheadersize 256
set sflow port {INTERFACE_NAME} sampler rate 2048
